Available for most Mainstream Mobile Devices
Mobile CRM+ is available for Windows Mobile Standard & Professional edition, Symbian Series 60 based Nokia devices and Blackberry Curve. More devices will be supported in near future. In all devices, the user interface is similar and it uses the native device navigation so there is no learning curve for the users.
Works out-of-the-box, no
server component required
All versions of Mobile CRM+ (except onpremise where the server is not exposed
to internet) works out of the box with the application directly interacting with
the MS Dynamics CRM server. Onpremise servers that have public IP addresses also
works without any additional server component. For Onpremise servers that are not
exposed to internet, a Proxy web service is required to be installed on a server
that is exposed to internet. The proxy web service is provided free of cost.
Supports all deployment types
Mobile CRM+ is available for all implementations of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server.
- Mobile CRM+ works with partner Hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM server by directly communicating with the server over a secured connection.
- Mobile CRM+ works with internet facing deployment of in-premise Microsoft Dynamics CRM server by directly communicating with the server over secured connection. An optional Wrapper web service is available for deployment that is internal to the company intranet.
- Mobile CRM+ communicates directly with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online/Live edition.
Information entry takes full advantage of device hardware
Even though it is difficult to enter data using mobile devices; they have the necessary hardware to allow users to easily enter unstructured data which can be referenced as is or converted to structured data on a desktop system. Mobile CRM+ takes advantage the hardware to make it easy for the user to enter CRM information:
- Attaching multiple images to CRM Entities
- Camera can be used to attach images to leads, contacts, activities, and cases and stored as image annotations on the CRM Server. Mobile CRM+ allows user to attach multiple images to any CRM entity.
- Attaching multiple Voice notes / Dictations for CRM Entities
- Microphone can be used to attach voice note or dictations to leads, contacts, activities, and cases and stored as audio annotations on the CRM Server. Mobile CRM+ allows user to attach multiple audio files to any CRM entity.
Fully integrates with Native Phone applications
Customers usually use conventional means to communicate. Getting these communications into the CRM Server from a mobile device is a difficult task. Mobile CRM+ provides one-click transfer/copy of the information received from customers to the CRM server.
- Incoming & Outgoing phone call recording
- Mobile CRM+ can automatically record all incoming and outgoing phone calls for Microsoft Dynamics CRM leads and contacts and upload them to the server as activities related to the lead or contact.
- Promoting Emails & SMS to CRM Server
- Mobile CRM+ Integration with device email, SMS application that allows user to automatically copy information from these applications and upload them to the CRM server as activities related to the CRM lead or contact.
Incredible Meeting recording technique
When a meeting is conducted with CRM account, contact or lead, it may not be necessary to record the entire proceedings of the meeting. Mobile CRM+ uses a DVR style audio memory buffer during a meeting. When user realizes that a key point is already made that should have been noted, user selects “Capture” and Mobile CRM+ will save whatever is already said in the past to an audio file.
- “Timed Capture” saves the past conversation and continues recording current conversation for a minute before it stops automatically.
- “Manual capture” saves the past conversation and continues recording current conversation till user stops the recording.
- Full recording of the entire meeting is also available.
- All Audio files recorded during the meeting are attached as audio annotations to the meeting activity and uploaded to the CRM Server.
Works Online and Offline
Mobile CRM+ caches data on the mobile device so that user has access to CRM information even when there is no network connection or wireless data connection. User can refresh the data on demand when required. Since all critical information updates are already delivered to Mobile CRM+ through the monitoring threads, automatic periodic download of CRM information is not required. User provides the frequency of the upload thread for uploading the captured information to the server.
Better user experience through multi-tasking
Mobile CRM+ communicates with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server in the background in separate threads for downloading and uploading information. This keeps the user interface always responsive. All monitoring of mobile device applications that Mobile CRM+ integrates with are done in the background. A status bar at the bottom of the user interface screens always shows the background activities.
Data Security and Privacy
Since mobile devices can be easily lost or stolen, data security in Mobile CRM+ is our primary concern.
- Communication with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server is over secured connection.
- All data that persists on the device for offline browsing are encrypted.
- Program always requires a login during startup and idle and any failed login results in complete erasing of persisted data and re-downloading upon a successful CRM server login.
- Another level of data encryption during communication is available when communication to the CRM Server is done through the custom Wrapper web service.
